Deutsche Bank actively evolves its electronic trading capabilities for Fixed Income and Currencies business. We design, build, and continuously evolve our platform and surrounding ecosystem. It includes full front-to-back technological stack: physical and cloud infrastructure and Dev Ops, connectivity to markets around the globe (Exchanges, Electronic Connectivity Networks, etc), algo and order management frameworks, internal and external APIs, pricing and trading algorithms, risk management, data capture and data analysis capabilities, sophisticated UIs for end users, and many other. The Firm relies on internal IT team working in tight collaboration with quant traders and front office to build this mission critical element of the Deutsche Bank's franchise. Your Key Responsibilities:

* Your primary focus will be development of ultra-low latency Algo, Market Data, and Market Connectivity components and frameworks. The platform is built using top-notch hardware and network solutions as well as efficient software techniques - those include direct access to network cards to bypass the standard TCP/IP stack, explicit assignment of hot threads to physical processors to achieve the top performance, and use the most recent C++ 17/20 language features to get to the edge of impossible and one step beyond

* Working on business and functional requirements, technical analysis, and design

* Contributing to the definition of the future state of the system architecture

* Development of exchange connectors, development of ultra-low latency framework and particular algos, & development of surrounding ecosystem services

* Reviewing other team member's code

* Collaborating with QA team on test automation and with Dev Ops on continues SDLC and environment management improvements

Your Skills and Experience:

* Good math and strong knowledge of algorithms and complexity

* Strong C++, STL, POSIX and Boost knowledge, multi-threading, good knowledge of TCP/IP stack

* Hands-on experience with Linux, gcc/gdb, valgrind

* Shell scripting, python, & FIX protocol knowledge is a plus

* Fluent written and spoken English

Expectations

The salary range for this position in New York City is $85,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration
