C++ Developer (Entry-level) Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None CACI is looking for an Entry-level C++ Developer with 0-5 years+ professional development experience to join a small on-site team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCDD), developing multi-platform desktop engineering tools in C++ for ship design and engineering modeling and simulation. Applications include such engineering disciplines as ship stability, powering, seakeeping and structural design/analysis. The team uses an agile development process based on SCRUM. The team works on multiple projects in parallel as well as adapt to changing requirements as needed. This position provides the opportunity to work in a relaxed, but energetic small team environment developing software used in mission critical engineering analyses for the Navy. MUST be willing to work onsite in Bethesda, Maryland (MD.) Active SECRET level clearance preferred! More About the Role: A clearance is not required for the candidate to apply and receive and offer but the offer is contingent on the candidate acquiring their interim secret clearance. The candidate must have a strong background in programming and must be willing to learn C++ with desired experience in parallel programming and application multithreading. The candidate must be self-motivated and comfortable working with minimal supervision within a larger group. The candidate must also be comfortable working on various unrelated projects simultaneously where needed. This opportunity provides the candidate with an open environment to learn and provide professional software products without micro-management.
