Description:Lockheed Martin in Orlando is looking for C++ coders who want to work on cutting edge national security programs.

Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems. This is Lockheed Martin's lead business unit for research development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology.

MFC is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop embedded and application software. Selected candidate will integrate algorithms into C++ applications. Candidate is expected to be proficient in C/C++. It is desirable to has experience w/ both Windows Visual Studio & Linux based C/C++ development.

For this first assignment, the best candidate will have experience with developing embedded real-time software using C++ and creating GUIs for support tools for aircraft simulation. Candidates that would succeed in this position will also have experience with multi-core processors, multi-threading, and design pattern usage.

Candidates filling this position will need a clearance at the level specified in "Clearance Level" or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified.

Embedded real-time C++ software development on embedded real-time operating system (RTOS)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
